If your looking for a great family day out, enjoying some of Scotlands oldest traditional music, arts, crafts and sports then make your way along to Airth Highland Games.
Airth Highland Games are held in an area called "The Wilderness" alongside the river Forth based next to the small village of Airth the Highland Games are always held on the fourth Saturday in July and are opened by the Airth Games Chieftain chosen for that year.
Airth Games gates are open to the public from 10 am with the opening ceremony taking place at 11am shortly followed by the Chieftans Parade at 12:30pm featuring the Alloa and Bowmar pipeband.
Airth Highland Games offers a great day out for everyone as well as families and tourists visiting Scotland, there's something for everyone at our family friendly highland games.
With excellent road links A905, Airth is less than 5 mins from the M876 / M9 motorway and a host of local hotels situtated in or near Airth will ensure you wont have any problems getting or staying here to enjoy our traditional scottish highland games.
Public parking is limited with Airth village but there is an extra large car parking area available next to the highland games main entrance which is also suitable for Buses. Directions to the car park are sign posted within Airth village.
