Games Chieftain 2007

Sandy Telfer
A former professional footballer, Canadian canoe instructor
and serious
crime squad detective, and now a partner in the biggest commercial
property law firm in the world, DLA Piper, Sandy has lived in Falkirk with
his wife Maureen for the last 15 years with their four "boys",
Christopher, Calum, Craig and Ross. In a survey carried out this year by
the Royal Town Planning Institute, he was ranked as one of the top three
planning lawyers in Scotland representing clients such as Miller Homes,
Barratt Construction, Ogilvie Homes, the Royal Bank of Scotland and Hallam
Land. His hobbies include hill walking, cinema, theatre, and enjoying
good food and wine with friends. When work commitments allow he supports
Falkirk FC.
